There are two videos below that musically have next to nothing to do with one another. But does it not seem that Fleming’s dress is a sort of highly ornamented riff on Röschmann’s dress? It’s something about the sequins and the size of the — I don’t know what you’d call that part of the dress. It’s not really a collar and I feel as if I’m doing it a disservice in terms of its obvious complexity if I call it a mere neckline. The upper boundary? Either way, if it came to a fight, I think that Fleming’s dress would probably win.
